THIS IS THE SEASON OF GIVING!! Thank you Abundant Life for your support of the Inaugural Thanksgiving Food Drive. Our mission was to help the hungry, those affected by the hurricanes in Greensboro, and our seniors by joining together and donating. The ALCI Outreach Ministry from September 30th to November 11th collected items during services of Non-Perishable Thanksgiving food items, baskets, plates and napkins, and more. 21 families reached out or were referred and were served with full Thanksgiving
PINK October with the Medical Ministry
The Medical Ministry at Abundant Life thanks everyone for their support and donations for breast cancer awareness. We completed the annual Cone Health 5k and also had PINK SUNDAY to celebrate our survivors and awareness. The month of October was in full PINK effect. Pastor Kirkpatrick visited the Bahamas last month with Life Worship Center to minister the Word during their celebration. September 20 to 22nd was their 2018 Minister's Conference 'Positioning for Harvest" and the 23rd Pastor was the featured 'Power to Prosper' speaker. LET’S HELP THE HUNGRY & THOSE AFFECTED BY THE HURRICANES! We need you to help families by donating to our THANKSGIVING Food Basket Drive Everyone CAN make a difference! From SEPTEMBER 30TH to NOVEMBER 11TH during normal church services you can: Donate at least 1 Full Basket/Box of Non-Perishable Thanksgiving Food Items (see suggested items below or in kitchen) Just an example, but not limited to: 1. ALCI Partners on Back2School Initiative to serve over 150 people with FREE school supplies, food and haircuts..
ALCI Outreach Ministry partnered with local men's group 50for50 to host their annual Back2School Drive Sunday Sept 26th from 2 to 5pm at HeadsUp Barbershop! Over 150 people were served with free bookbags filled with school supplies, food and haircuts. Thank you to sponsors Hawthorne and HeadsUp Barbershop for their donations.
