What is Blood Pressure? When your heart 💗 beats, it pushes blood out to your arteries. Blood pressure is a measurement of the force pushing outwards on your arterial walls. April is Alcohol Awareness Month! Drinking too much alcohol increases people’s risk of injuries, violence, drowning, liver disease, and some types of cancer. The good news? We can all do our part to prevent alcohol misuse or abuse. August is Eye Health Month. The ALCI Medical Ministry invites you to partner with us on giving the Gift of Sight as we host our Eyewear Recycle Program for donation to the Lion's Club, a local charity. “One pair of eyeglasses that are no longer being used, that same pair can change another person's life.” Prescription and non-prescription eyewear for adults and children accepted.
