At Abundant Life Church International, we believe that prayer is the foundation of everything we do. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is a devoted group of believers who are called and committed to standing in the gap — lifting up the ministry, our leaders, the community, and the world in consistent, faith-filled prayer.
Our Purpose
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry exists to:
- Maintain a spiritual covering over our church, pastors, ministries, and members
- Intercede on behalf of those in need — both inside and outside the church walls
- Be sensitive and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit in corporate and personal prayer
- Pray for the healing, salvation, and restoration of individuals, families, and communities
This ministry is made up of committed, yielded intercessors who understand the power and responsibility of prayer, and who dedicate themselves to seeking the heart and will of God on behalf of others.
What We Do
Our intercessors are engaged in:
- Regular prayer gatherings and sessions focused on specific ministry needs
- Community and crisis intercession for local, national, and global issues
- Private and corporate prayer coverage during services, events, and outreach efforts
- Partnering with other ministries to ensure that prayer is woven into all aspects of church life
We also receive and lift up prayer requests from our church family and the wider community — believing that God hears and answers the prayers of the righteous.
