Honoring Our Shepherd: Pastor Appreciation Month at ALCI

Every October, churches around the country take time to recognize and celebrate their spiritual leaders during Pastor Appreciation Month. At ALCI, we are especially blessed to be led by Apostle Kirkpatrick—a man of wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to God’s call.
Whether he’s delivering a powerful Word on Sunday, offering spiritual guidance during the week, or simply leading by example, Apostle’s impact resonates throughout our congregation. His simplistic yet profound style of teaching continues to touch hearts, transform lives, and lead people into deeper relationship with Christ.
This month, we want to go beyond simply saying “thank you.” We want to demonstrate our appreciation—in both word and deed.
Here are a few meaningful ways you can honor Apostle Kirkpatrick this month:
- Sow a seed into his life as a personal expression of gratitude
- Bless him with a gift card to one of his favorite restaurants
- Write a heartfelt card or letter sharing how his ministry has impacted you
- Offer a thoughtful gift, whether monetary or something more personal
- Or simply say, “We honor you” — sometimes, sincere words of appreciation go further than you think
AND… Let’s Not Forget!
🎉 October 22 is a milestone date — the day Apostle Kirkpatrick was elevated and consecrated as a Bishop and Apostle in the Lord’s Church. We praise God for this calling, this office, and the spiritual weight that Apostle carries with grace and humility.
💍 And last, but certainly not least — on October 27, we celebrate 24 beautiful years of marriage between Apostle and Lady Kim Kirkpatrick! (Let’s get a big round of applause right there!) Their union is a shining example of love, partnership, and godly commitment.
Let’s come together as a church family this October and shower our leaders with love, honor, and gratitude. Whether it’s a kind word, a thoughtful card, or a special gift, every gesture matters.
Thank you in advance for helping us make this a month to remember for Apostle and Lady Kim!
